1 Hour Tour

1-2 person sled = $400 plus taxes and fees

Each sled can hold 350 pounds (this does not include the musher) - only the riders. We take you up Spring Canyon and at the half way point we will get out of the sleds to take pictures, pet the dogs, and then return to the beginning of the trail head. You are on the sled approx. 1 hour but plan on being here 1.5 hours in total!!! Our tandem sleds allows one person to stand behind the musher. You can switch spots at the half way point with the other rider (who was previously sitting inside the sled)! If both riders want to sit that's an option as well. 

No riders younger than 3 years of age!

We offer a cash discount (makes it about $30 cheaper per sled) on all tours. You'll still pay the deposit online but you'll pay the remaining on the day of. We will call you 2 days prior of your tour if you have any question on the remaining balance if paying cash. 

We typically run 1 hour tours at 9am, 11am, 1pm and sometimes 3pm. The 3pm tour are generally reserved for the 2 hour tours (you can find those on the 2 HOUR booking tab). 

WAITLIST: We encourage you to add yourself to a waitlist if there's no availability. It will have you add your credit card information so that if you do get in all the information is already there. It does NOT charge you anything to be put on the waitlist. If there are multiple times and days you are looking for we recommend adding yourself to only ONE waitlist then type what other days and times you are looking for in the "Special Requirements" section. 

A 3 person sled = $450 plus taxes and fees (weight limit is 350 pounds as well)

Options for 3 people:

1 Adult, 2 Small Children (under 10 year olds)

2 Adults, 1 Small Child (3 or 4 years of age)

We consider 10 year olds as an adult due to weight!! 3 adults would need AT LEAST 2 sleds. We can't put 3 adults on 1 sled because you'd be over the weight limit and it would be very tight inside the sled! Even if you are within the weight limit 3 adults need 2 sleds. 

Your musher/tour guide will give you a tour that's educational, engaging, and fun. Gratuity is always appreciated but on groups with 3 or more sleds we do start with a minimum of 15%. 15-20% gratuity is recommended for all tours.

***Please expect spring conditions starting early March due to warmer temperatures. It can get a little slushy during the afternoon tours. We recommend sunglasses or ski googles with these conditions. If you are booking for late March we highly suggest booking in the morning as we may have to cancel the afternoon tours depending on conditions.

The $25/sled deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Important Info:

48 hour cancellation policy- any tours cancelled 2 days before your designated time will be charged FULL price. If you have chosen to pay in full at the time of booking everything except the $25/sled NON-refundable fee will be refunded back.

Arrival:

Address - 965 S. Hoytsville Rd. Coalville, UT 84017 - You'll park in front of the parking signs and go into our office building

Please arrive 15 minutes before your time (Ex: if you book dog sledding at 11:00 am you will arrive at 10:45). We will leave right on the hour in a shuttle van to head up to the trailhead. It could be a 5 to 10 minute drive depending on where we are starting. It's on a dirt road/private property so no worries about bring a carseat for your child in the shuttle van.

Plan on being here 1.5 hours due to the shuttle ride up and back.  (Ex: for an 11:00 AM tour you'll be here until around 12:30)

Ubers are unreliable. You will most likely miss your tour or will be waiting hours to be picked back up. Our address is extremely easy to drive to but we think they don't want to be bothered by going 30 minutes out of their way. Here are a few suggestions for transportation.

Payment:

The $25 per sled is NON-REFUNDABLE fee (this goes towards the cost of the overall booking) then pay the remaining balance on the day of either credit card or cash. If you choose to pay cash it will it be cheaper by around $30 per sled (omitting the sales tax). 

We recommend a 15 - 20% gratuity for you musher! All groups with 3 or more sleds will be required to do the minimum of 15% 

Extra Info:

We have many people ask "We have a few people in our group who aren't dog sledding but want to watch the rest of us. Can they come and take pictures?" Unfortunately the answer is no. We run our tours in the mountains which is awesome for our guests but it's not ideal for spectators. You would only see them a total of a minute before you don't see them the rest of the hour long ride. There isn't a warm building or extra workers who can sit with you for the hour tour.  Additionally we are the only ones who shuttle everyone up and back between the office and the trailhead. Even if you are in a 4 wheel drive vehicle we don't have anyone go up.
